    • The Institute of Democracy & Elections for Good Governance (IDEGG), an informal initiative of State Election Commission, Maharashtra, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF).(26 Sept)
    • International Conference (25th & 26th Oct)
    • ‘Institute of Democracy & Elections for Good Governance’ was established as a formal initiative of SECM (6 Nov)
    • As per SECM order dated 6 November, 2018, SECM now treat NOTA as a fictional electoral candidate (for the elections to ULSGs) and hold repoll wherever NOTA gets highest votes (6 Nov)
